Miralindia Warranty and Care Instructions

Miralindia prides itself on its quality craftsmanship and superior products. The mirror and glass products we use are of the highest grade and produced using state-of-the-art equipment. Our products are inspected at our warehouse during fabrication and before packing for dispatch.

1. Product Quality & Warranty

• We guarantee our mirror products with a 1-year warranty from the date of delivery, though we believe they may last a lifetime, especially the wooden ones.
• If a manufacturing defect occurs during this period, we will repair or replace it. Contact customer care with the details and a photo. However, shipping costs must be covered by the customer.
• The item must be sent well-packed for safety, or it will not be accepted.
• The warranty covers frames only and does not cover the glass itself.

2. Warranty Limitations

• Our warranty does not cover:

  • Scratches, cracks, or chips which must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Damage caused by improper care.
  • Black edges (desilvering) caused by moisture, considered improper care, and not covered by the warranty.

• If a fault is verified, we may:

  • Refund the purchase price.
  • Repair and return the goods.
  • Send new goods or parts as a replacement.

• If an identical replacement is unavailable, we will replace it with the nearest equivalent product.

• The warranty does not cover installation costs or any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages caused by defects.

3. Custom Mirror Standards

• Our custom mirrors are made with the highest quality materials, but minor imperfections are allowable under industry standards:
  • Pinhead bubbles in the mirror (not visible from normal viewing distance).
  • Minor indentations or faint scratches in frames (not visible from normal viewing distance).
  • Slight color variances between frames or grain differences in natural woods.

4. Preventing Desilvering (Black Edges)

• Black edges are caused by excess moisture. To prevent this, follow these steps:
  • Avoid splashing water on the mirror.
  • Dry the edges after use.
  • Use a dehumidifier or ensure proper bathroom ventilation.
  • Use ammonia-free cleaners, applied to a cloth rather than directly on the mirror.
  • If the mirror touches the vanity, add a silicone strip to seal the edge.

5. Mirror Surface Protection & Maintenance

• Clean with a moist soft or microfiber cloth. Stubborn marks can be removed with diluted mild detergent.
• Avoid rough, gritty, or abrasive cleaners to prevent damage to the silvering, which may invalidate your warranty.
• Streaking or swirling patterns may appear when the mirror steams up, but this does not affect performance.
• Regular condensation may damage the silvering, so ensure proper ventilation or use a demisting pad.

This guarantee covers normal use and does not extend to issues caused by improper installation, intentional damage, neglect, misuse, modifications, inappropriate cleaning, accidental damage, or wear and tear. It also excludes any damage resulting from events beyond our control.

Additionally, the guarantee does not cover products that have been altered or modified without prior written consent from Miralindia.

 

Here are some tips for cleaning wooden frames:
• Remove dust: Use a microfiber or woolen cloth to remove dust from the frame.
Use a damp cloth: Use a damp cloth or furniture polish to clean the frame.
Use a toothbrush: For ornate frames, use a toothbrush to reach hard-to-clean areas.
• Use lighter fluid: For smooth paint surfaces, use a small amount of lighter fluid to remove fingerprints and marks.
Use a wood care product: Apply a wood care or polishing product, such as a spray wax, to the entire surface.
• Avoid glass cleaner: Glass cleaner can damage the wood or finish, or leave spots.
